Daily Prayer for Monday, August 3, 2026 entitled: “Beyond the Storm, the Hand that Reaches Out and Saves”

Jesus invites us to cross to the other side, even when the wind blows against us. In the darkness of our fears, we are never alone: His voice dispels terror and His hand lifts us from the waves of mistrust. Trusting Him transforms the storm into a meeting of Grace.

Lord Jesus,
as the waves of anxiety toss our boat,
teach us to recognize your footsteps upon the surface of our fears.

Do not allow the darkness of the night or the push of opposing winds
to obscure your voice whispering to us not to be afraid.

When our faith wavers and we sink into the abyss of doubt,
stretch out your mighty hand immediately and hold us close to You.

On the dry land of our daily lives,
grant that we may run to You bringing every weakness and illness,
confident that even touching the fringe of your cloak brings healing.

You are the Son of God,
the Lord who bestows true peace and calms every storm.
