Daily Prayer for Saturday, August 15, 2026 titled: “The Exultation of the Soul Singing God’s Wonders”

Mary sets out in haste to serve. Her presence brings the joy of the Holy Spirit. Humble servant of the Lord, she teaches us to magnify Him always.

Virgin Mary, Mother of the Visitation,
teach us the promptness of love that does not delay.
Help us carry Jesus to everyone we meet along our path.

With you, our souls magnify the Lord,
and our spirits rejoice in God our Savior.
Preserve within us the joy of knowing we are loved by Him.

Holy Spirit, who filled Elizabeth and John with joy,
renew our hearts with the gift of praise today.
Teach the humble to place all their trust in Divine Providence.

Receive our prayers and present them to Your Son.
Be our trustworthy guide toward our heavenly home.

Amen.

The Magnificat celebrates God’s greatness in exalting the humble and scattering the proud. Church teaching presents Mary as the ultimate model of a missionary Church, journeying in charity to bring Christ to the world.
