Daily Prayer for Monday, July 13, 2026, entitled: “Choosing You beyond any human compromise”

Jesus invites us today to a radical discipleship, free from compromise. His words, sharp like a sword, do not seek a superficial peace, but demand truth of heart. Following Him means putting His love above every affection, ready to take up our cross.

Lord Jesus, fire that purifies hearts,
grant us the courage for definitive choices.
Free us from the temptation to adapt the Gospel to our comfort or to the world’s expectations.

Spirit of Truth,
infuse in us a gentle strength.
Teach us to love our dear ones with your same free heart, without making human bonds an obstacle to the journey of faith.

Good Teacher,
who invites us to take up the cross every day, sustain our weakness.
Grant that we may not flee the fatigue of witness and sacrifice for the sake of your Name.

Lord of life,
make us ready to welcome your messengers with joy.
Give us the grace to recognize your presence in the little ones and in whoever knocks at our door hungering for justice.

May our existence be a transparent gift,
spent entirely for the Kingdom,
to receive from You the reward of the righteous.
