Lord Jesus,
Lord of Truth who enlighten every human being,
guard our conscience from every empty compromise.

Grant us the courage of John the Baptist,
able to bear witness to your Word without fear,
even when the world asks us to be silent.

Free us from the grip of others’ judgment
and from the anxiety of pleasing the powerful,
so that our lives seek only your glory.

Holy Spirit,
grant light to our steps in the darkness of doubt
and make us heralds of justice in our workplaces and families.

Good Father,
grant that we may never stifle your voice in our hearts
and welcome our weaknesses into the power of your love.
